It has been about 15 months since my last post, and simultaneously life has been busy but going at a snail’s pace. One of the things that keeps me going is my interest in tinkering with technology.
Moving forward, I’m shifting the focus of this blog toward two things I’ve become increasingly passionate about: Linux and hardware longevity.
We live in an era of “disposable” tech, where perfectly capable machines are often abandoned because of bloated software or ended support cycles. I’ve spent much of my time away discovering how Linux can act as a “fountain of youth” for consumer hardware—taking older systems and making them feel snappy, secure, and modern again.
What to expect in the coming weeks:
Deep dives into extending the life of older desktops and laptops.
Guides on using lightweight or immutable distributions to keep hardware relevant.
General Linux tips, workflows, and perhaps a bit of programming logic.
If you’ve stuck around during the silence, thanks for being here. If you’re new, welcome to the journey of making old silicon do new tricks.
It’s good to be back.
